VibeSpace Color Coding
Every project in a VibeSpace has a color identity. Colors help you distinguish projects at a glance across the entire interface.
Automatic assignment
CrispyVibe assigns an initial color based on the folder path. The same folder always receives the same initial color, regardless of which VibeSpace it belongs to.
Where colors appear
Project colors surface in 13 locations throughout the interface:
| Area | Locations |
|---|---|
| Project rail | Header bar, project cards |
| Terminal | Tiles, minimized tabs, spotlight |
| Sidebar | File explorer, source control |
| Settings | Project list entries |
| Content viewer | Tab indicators |
| VibeCast | Participant dots |
Choose a custom color
Set a custom color using either method:
- Click the color swatch on the project header in the rail.
- Open VibeSpace Settings → Projects and click the color swatch next to the project.
Select a color from the picker to apply it immediately.
Clear a custom color
- Open the color picker for the project.
- Click Clear Color.
The project reverts to the theme accent color as its fallback.
💡 Tip: Projects without a custom color use the current theme’s accent color. Switching themes changes the fallback color for all uncolored projects.
