Sign In

CrispyVibe uses Sign in with Apple via AWS Cognito for authentication.

Signing in

  1. Open App Settings → Account.
  2. Click Continue with Apple.
  3. Complete the Apple sign-in prompt.
  4. Your email appears in the Account card once signed in.

What signing in provides

  • Links your identity for future account-based features
  • Tokens are stored securely in the macOS Keychain (data-protection, device-only)

Signed-in state

  • Account settings shows a checkmark icon and “Signed in as {email}”
  • A Sign Out button is available

Signing out

  1. Open App Settings → Account.
  2. Click Sign Out.
  3. Tokens are deleted from the Keychain and the UI reverts to signed-out state.

Troubleshooting

  • If sign-in fails, an error message appears in the Account card with a warning icon
  • If you cancel the Apple sign-in window, nothing happens — no error is shown
  • Sign-in requires an internet connection to reach the authentication service

⚠️ Note: CrispyVibe works fully without signing in. Authentication is optional and does not gate any current features.
