Getting Started

Get CrispyVibe running and create your first workspace.

Requirements

  • macOS 26 or later
  • Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later)
  • Apple Intelligence enabled for Terminal Insights (optional)

What’s under the hood

CrispyVibe’s terminal is powered by Ghostty — a fast, GPU-accelerated terminal emulator. You get native rendering performance, full Unicode support, and accurate color reproduction without any configuration.

Install

  1. Download the DMG.
  2. Drag CrispyVibe to Applications.
  3. Open CrispyVibe.

Create a VibeSpace

  1. Click New VibeSpace on the Dashboard.
  2. Name it and add one or more project folders (local or SSH).
  3. Choose a default AI agent or skip to add one later.
  4. Click Create — your workspace opens with a terminal board ready to use.

Add an AI agent

CrispyVibe discovers installed agents from your PATH. Supported out of the box:

  • Kiro CLI
  • Claude Code
  • Codex
  • Gemini CLI
  • OpenCode
  • GitHub Copilot CLI

Custom agents can be added in Settings → Agents by specifying a command and arguments.

💡 Tip: If you install an agent after launching CrispyVibe, restart the app so it can discover the new executable.

Next steps

  • Open the Terminal Board to arrange terminals in a grid layout.
  • Use Terminal Spotlight to switch between sessions with a keyboard shortcut.
  • Configure VibeSpace Settings to set startup profiles and terminal defaults.
