Getting Started
Get CrispyVibe running and create your first workspace.
Requirements
- macOS 26 or later
- Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later)
- Apple Intelligence enabled for Terminal Insights (optional)
What’s under the hood
CrispyVibe’s terminal is powered by Ghostty — a fast, GPU-accelerated terminal emulator. You get native rendering performance, full Unicode support, and accurate color reproduction without any configuration.
Install
- Download the DMG.
- Drag CrispyVibe to Applications.
- Open CrispyVibe.
Create a VibeSpace
- Click New VibeSpace on the Dashboard.
- Name it and add one or more project folders (local or SSH).
- Choose a default AI agent or skip to add one later.
- Click Create — your workspace opens with a terminal board ready to use.
Add an AI agent
CrispyVibe discovers installed agents from your PATH. Supported out of the box:
- Kiro CLI
- Claude Code
- Codex
- Gemini CLI
- OpenCode
- GitHub Copilot CLI
Custom agents can be added in Settings → Agents by specifying a command and arguments.
💡 Tip: If you install an agent after launching CrispyVibe, restart the app so it can discover the new executable.
Next steps
- Open the Terminal Board to arrange terminals in a grid layout.
- Use Terminal Spotlight to switch between sessions with a keyboard shortcut.
