App Settings

Open App Settings with Cmd+, or from the app side menu.

Settings are organized into categories in the left sidebar.

Account

Manage your CrispyVibe account and subscription.

Appearance

Customize the look of the IDE:

  • Window mode — choose between windowed and full-screen layouts
  • Theme — select a preset theme or customize individual color tokens. CrispyVibe includes 30+ theme presets spanning dark, light, seasonal, and cultural categories, sorted alphabetically in the picker for quick access.
  • Font — set font family, size, and text color
  • Rail scale — adjust the size of the sidebar rail
  • Border shape — choose rounded or square corners for UI elements
  • Border visibility — show or hide borders between panes
  • Rail position — place the rail on the left or right
  • App side menu dock — position the app menu

Keyboard Shortcuts

View and rebind app-wide keyboard shortcuts. You can also configure the terminal inline trigger shortcut here.

Terminal

Configure terminal behavior:

  • Shell — set the default shell
  • Engine — select the terminal engine
  • tmux integration — enable or disable tmux session management

AI Services

Set defaults for text actions:

  • CLI defaults — configure which CLI tool handles text actions
  • Prompt templates — customize prompt templates for text actions

Agents

Configure AI agent defaults:

  • Default agent — choose which agent connects by default
  • Model — set the default model
  • Reasoning level — set the default reasoning level
  • Trust mode — choose Standard or Full Trust as the default
  • Custom agents — add agents by specifying a title, executable, and arguments

VibeSpaces

Manage your full VibeSpace library:

  • Table view — lists all VibeSpaces with name, project folders, and actions
  • Multi-select — Cmd-click to select multiple VibeSpaces for bulk operations
  • Project folder links — click any project path to reveal it in Finder
  • Open / Remove — open a VibeSpace or remove it from the library

Connections

Manage SSH profiles for remote development. Add, edit, or remove SSH connection configurations.

Updates

  • Auto-check — enable or disable automatic update checks
  • Appcast feed — configure the update feed URL

Experimental

Toggle experimental feature flags. Features behind these gates may be incomplete or unstable.

⚠️ Note: Experimental features can change or be removed without notice.

Reset

Reset all local settings to their defaults.

🚨 Warning: This action cannot be undone. All customizations return to factory defaults.

VibeSpace-scoped settings

Some settings apply per-VibeSpace rather than globally. These live in VibeSpace Settings and include:

  • Project-specific keyboard shortcuts
  • Project colors
  • Startup overrides

Open VibeSpace Settings from the command palette or the VibeSpace menu.
