Image Editor

Image files open in an interactive viewer with built-in editing tools. Crop, draw, and annotate without leaving your workspace.

Viewing

  • Pan with click-and-drag
  • Pinch-to-zoom or scroll to zoom
  • Zoom context is preserved across edits and file reloads

Editing tools

Crop

  1. Select the crop tool.
  2. Drag to define the crop region.
  3. Confirm to apply.

In-bounds annotations and drawings are preserved. Out-of-bounds overlays are removed.

Draw

Freehand drawing directly on the image. Strokes are composited onto the image when saved.

Annotate

Add text annotations with configurable font family and size. Position the text anywhere on the image.

Clip / Copy

Copy the image or a selection to the clipboard.

Saving

Edits are composited and saved to disk. Reopening the file shows your saved edits. Use Clear edits to revert to the original image.

Remote images

Images on SSH remote hosts are staged locally for preview. Edits write back to the remote source on save.

SVG

SVG files open in a dedicated vector preview host (read-only).
